I provide therapy for children, adolescents, couples and individuals. When children or adolescents are in therapy, it helps to have the family involved because they learn a lot from the parents! The type of insurance I accept: Cigna, BlueCross, Aetna, PBHI, BlueShield (HMO, PPO), Triwest, The Holman Group, UBH, USBH and APS and of course cash. I do 45 minute sessions, including the intake session. I work on: Thursdays: 11:00am-7:00pm (last session begins at 5:50pm) and Fridays: 8:50am-6:00 (last session begins at 4:45pm) |

A Little Bit About Me
I am Kelly Sanders, licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I work at Inland Psychiatric Medical Group. I have been a therapist for 6 1/2 years. I have worked with adolescents for 10 years through my internship. I also work with individuals, couples and families. I am continually working on my knowledge because as a therapist, I also need to grow in my field and as a person.
There are different ways a therapist can connect with a client. I think it is necessary for a person to be comfortable with their therapist, otherwise, therapy can be more stressful. I like to get to know my client, find out the reason for coming to therapy and also the goals for therapy. I use Solution-Focused therapy, which is by asking direct questions. I also use Cognitive-Behavioral and Family Systems therapy.
Each client is different and therapy needs to fit the needs of the client as well as help move the client in a forward direction.
